The TTR connection
TTR Institute in Milan is our partner for third-party inspection: the visit is done by engineers who know the plant, and the report is issued with a European signature. For a buyer in Denmark or a customs officer in Italy, that changes the weight of the document.
It also gives a route to product marks in markets where a Chinese self-declaration is not accepted.
Keeping certificates alive
Surveillance audits, recertification and product changes are where certificates quietly become invalid: a new supplier of a critical component, a modified mould, a different surface treatment.
We track the changes with the plant and tell you when the technical file must be updated — before the auditor finds it.
Questions about certification
Can you certify a product made by our Chinese supplier?
Yes. We work with the supplier's technical team, assemble the file and coordinate testing and inspection, while the certificate is issued to the entity that holds the design responsibility.
Is a Chinese test report accepted in Europe?
Only from an accredited laboratory and only for the configuration tested. We check the accreditation scope before accepting a report.
What is the difference between an audit and an inspection?
The audit evaluates the system and the process; the inspection verifies a specific lot or product against its specification. Certification usually needs both.
Do you handle CE marking?
We prepare the technical file and coordinate the assessment; the declaration is signed by the manufacturer or the importer, as the regulation requires.
How long does a certification project take?
Eight to sixteen weeks for a management system, longer when product testing is involved and the laboratory queue is full.
